Case Study: Cabling and Sever Upgrade

A leading building contractor based in Berkshire with a customer base of over 200 clients, 10 office based staff and 25 contractors was looking to upgrade their IT infrastructure. Their existing system was slow, unreliable, inflexible and was becoming increasingly costly to maintain with unexpected IT costs affecting the bottom line.

CompuSage was asked to design, install and commission an IT system that would provide a modern communications infrastructure and that was flexible enough to cater for current and future needs without additional costs and easy enough to use with fixed support costs.

CompuSage, working closely with the Director and other key members of the company, proposed a new category 5 cabling system, upgraded the PCs and installed a new server based on Windows NT Server. In addition, we put in place a cost effective support contract with agreed service deliverables.

As a result of the upgrade the company found that productivity levels increased due to decreased down time, efficiency increased and staff morale improved. The Director was so happy with the new IT system that he had no hesitation in recommending CompuSage to one his business associates.
